The Orlando Magic have picked Paolo Banchero with the first choice in the NBA draft.
For Duke University’s Blue Devils, the 19-year-old forward averaged 17.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 39 appearances.
Despite a 22-60 record, the Magic finished worst in the Eastern Conference and second-worst in the NBA.

The Houston Rockets, who finished last season with an NBA-worst record of 20-62, picked Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren with the second overall choice.
While the Thunder selected Smith with the third overall pick.
Polish-American The Spurs picked Jeremy Sochan, a Southampton and Milton Keynes native, with the ninth overall choice.
