The road to the final is difficult
Real Madrid reached the Champions League final despite losing four of their first 12 games.

Despite this, Carlo Ancelotti’s team ended the season as European champions.
Real Madrid scored three goals in the last 17 minutes of the second half to beat Paris St. Germain 2-0 on aggregate and reach the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Rodrygo’s 80th-minute goal forced extra time in their quarterfinal against Chelsea, who were behind 4-3 on aggregate.
Karim Benzema’s 96th-minute goal gave them a 5-4 victory overall.
Manchester City came back to beat them in their semi-final, and then they pulled off the greatest comeback ever.
In the last seconds of the second leg, Real Madrid trailed 5-3 on aggregate against Pep Guardiola’s side. But a hat trick from Brazilian replacement Roderigo forced extra time.
